Video: Is the Web Really Dead? Part 2

This is part 2 of our recent video series called Is the Web Really Dead? Part 1.

The essence of the argument in Wired Magazine is based on the above graph suggesting that the Web is very different from the Internet . . . and is in fact “dying.”

In the new video Russell suggests that this “Death of the Web” runs parallel to “The Death of the Salesman” which reaches absolute zero once the internet is projected from every-Body via mobile devices such as The Sixth Sense technology. Of course everyone has been talking about the demise of pushy and persuasive salesmen for the last 10 years as a result of online comparison shopping. Few have guessed when their fates are sealed (TOD or time of death).

This Theme Zoom “futurist” series introduces a zoomed-out view of two possible technological futures mankind is moving towards. This perspective will be helpful to any business owner who wishes to prepare and take advantage of the many upcoming changes in mankind’s relationship to technology and the ever-increasing limits of  his attention.

You can learn more about this in the  upcoming Theme Zoom Certification November 15, 2010.

We hope to see you in Mesa Arizona for the Theme Zoom event.

We have started upgrading our videos to Vimeo because these videos are better in High Definition Video. We also provide a version of Is the Web Really Dead Part 2 on our Theme Zoom Youtube Channel.
