They are also setting up Google Video Beta to snap over "plug and play" for selling videos online. Some folks are already doing it.

The implications of this are STAGGERING. Remember this is surgically targeted video commercial distribution on a mass scale. TELEVISION.

We have recently created a video podcast for a client for 10 bucks that would ahve cost me 10,000 on the Avid 8000 in 1999 when I was a producer editor!

Whatever you think about the "initiative" the video is pretty funny on the site.

My guts tell me that the concerns of this organization are a little extreme . . . on the other hand . . . just because you are paranoid . . . does NOT mean they are not following you.
