We had several Theme Zoom members request clarification about the recent podcast called "major adsense changes".

Google has admitted that Google adwords and Google adsense share the same caching system.

This means that Google is in the remedial stages of sharing data acquired from adsense publishers and leveraging it for adwords advertisers. Kevin Lee believes Google is in the "imperfect" stages of development.

I had the opportunity to spend several hours listening to Kevin Lee (Didit.com) at SEO Chicago, and I consider his following article a major authority on exactly how integrated these two Google caches are (or are not):

A couple of our TZ members were unable to see the connection between the two systems after listening to the August 10th call. This is because we did not adequately distinguish between "quality rating" and "smart pricing". Also we did not leave you enough citations and articles (including a direct response to concerned publishers from Google).

The bottom line is that Google adsense and Google adwords are becoming more "incestuous" or "integrated" in order to more effectively increase the conversion rate (not the click-thru rate!) of Google's beloved advertisers.

Within the Theme Zoom help manual, I talk about "What is Theme Density" and how it may be possible for Google to use media bot and adsense to determine the overall theme relevancy of your website. This seems like a logical next step for a well integrate systems company, like Google.
