Amazon Sells Groceries, Tower Records Goes Bankrupt and Google buys You Tube.

Hello Folks!

This is a special emergency Niche Trends Radio broadcast with myself (Russell Wright) and Jay Townely. I phoned Jay up almost in a panic because Amazon.com had sent me an advertisment for 50% off "Special K" cereal and "Kraft Mac and Cheese"! Thats it- I declared. Buying groceries from a bookstore is where I draw the line!

When people start buying groceries online . . . its all over!

. . . or is it?

Right after I deleted the Amazon.com e-mail, Chris Anderson of The Long Tail notified me to reveal that Tower Records had gone bankrupt. The straw that broke the camels back was when Russell found out the Google purchase You Tube.

What does all of this mean, and how does it affect the future of Internet Marketing, Niche Research, and . . . well . . . life? Jay Townley addresses these questions and manages to calm Russell down . . . sort of.
