Scribefire is Back and Better

Hi folks,

We have tested Scribefire on several occasions but have noticed that they have a difficult time maintaining a consistent quality with their software updates. The purpose of this software is to update your various blogs from a single Mozilla WYSIWYG editor. A great idea, right?

If you are able to read this post, it means that the programmers and http://www.scribefire.com have managed to get it working again.

Or was Scribefire ever really broken?

I am beginning to think not after reviewing the “forum buzz”.

Essentially many beginners were misunderstanding the purpose and function of the xmlrpc or http://mywebsite.com/blog/xmlrpc.php” function in setting up your Scribefire account. Here is a more professional official wordpress FAQ that has more details about xmlrpc issues. Also as a side note, you may need to remove the word “blog” from the default URL when setting up an individual blog within your Scribefire account.

Happy blogging!

Russell Wright.
