The Vertical Market Filter (The Last Keyword Tool)

Hello folks,

Today we are going to cover a default filter included in your subscription of The Last Keyword Tool. It is called the Vertical Markets filter.

Knowing the vertical markets of your seed term is important. Drilling into the vertical market will allow you to see your seed term from a higher perspective. You are able to analyze where the money is moving in that market, and how much of the market is represented by your seed term. Additionally you can find related markets that can allow you to cast a wider keyword net, bringing you additional converting traffic.

I have been given permission from Theme Zoom secret labs to reveal the code to this filter. This means it is now open source and you can tweak it up or down any way you see fit:

(((((keyword_bayes_score – min_bayes_score) / (max_bayes_score – min_bayes_score)) + ((keyword_lsi_score – min_lsi_score)/ (max_lsi_score – min_lsi_score) * 1.3))/2.3) * 100) > 60 and keyword_upper_google_cost_per_click > 1 and keyword_upper_google_clicks_per_day > 100 and keyword_google_competing_pages > (seed_google_competing_pages * 1.1)

This particular filter was written by Sue Bell to include Theme Zoom’s proprietary natural language processing components. These two components are seen above in the code as “bayes score’ and “LSI” score. Keep in mind that you have full flexibility and control over the numbers in this equation if choose to change them by cutting and pasting the code into a new filter. You may change the volume or alter the algorithm itself using the Edit Filter function, but you must copy the code into the “create new filter” function:
