As you know the SEO world is changing so fast that sometimes it is better to publish several items at once. The following entry will cover what we believe to be the most interesting SEO and online business strategy related news of the last 4 months.
It’s the humble opinion of Sue Bell that Google has lost the battle to Facebook. At this point Google would have to do something truly remarkable to change this fait accompli. This is not a small thing for Sue to say- and over the next few posts, we will be considering the impact and meaning this may have for your business and the future of online strategy in general.

Interestingly enough, just the other day I was playing with Google squared, the big G’s response to Wolfram Alpha, and thinking how it had soooooo many possibilities – it literally made me think in new directions – and yet, sadly, it fell way short of my desires to actually return meaningful results.

It is pretty clear that the main focus of the FTC “attack” on the industry is to clean up the FLOG (fake blog) and other dishonest testimonial methods used by the “old boys club” methods and other “product launch” methods. This is not to say that the “Product Launch Formula” endorses the use of questionable testimonial techniques, but using “overly qualified” testimonials from JV collaborations will not qualify as a testimonial without following the proper FTC rules and regulations.

Bing has a pretty nice user interface but this factor is not enough to compete with Google.
