TLKT Engineer Makes How-To Video: Build Your Own Keyword Columns
ByFor us, The Last Keyword Tool was just plain fun to build. It was a labor of love.
I have an email box full of people asking us to compare our product to features within other tools, and making a few suggestions about what they would like “borrowed” from these other tools. These folks are what I consider “fans” and they are always trying to help us make the tool better.
I have had people ask me what makes your tool better than others.
One of many answers to this question is: “Flexibility.”
The new keyword tool was written for people who aspire to understand what is really going on with language, keywords and market conversations. It was also written to give people the benefit of the doubt- and to assist professionals who have a desire to eventually control the outputs and algorithms for themselves.
Not everyone wants this sort of flexibility of course . . . but eventually most people do. Some people want to go to the store and simply buy a pre-packaged teddy bear. Not everyone wants to take the time to “Build-a-Bear”, or “build-an-algorithm.” The difference is that algorithms and data require flexibility if you want to apply them to multiple situations. Furthermore, when you want to add all the features of every keyword tool on earth- you have to create enough flexibility within your application to allow for this possibility.
With TLKT you have complete control over the algorithms for the filter and user defined column - you can create new columns with outputs based on your own math, or tweak the math given to you by other keyword tools based on your own needs. Furthermore, we will create a social community around these difference so you may communicate with others about the filters and algorithms that are working for them. More importantly, this allows you “flexibility” when testing the algorithms of other systems . . . rather than just taking their word for it.
For the first time ever, the “mastermind” behind TLKT is actually presenting a how-to VIDEO.
I will let Kelley show you this in his new videos:
